Dr. Hill serves as Gemini Health’s Medical Director. Dr. Hill brings significant hands-on medical provider experience, knowledge and expertise on practice workflow, and the practical and clinical uses of inpatient and outpatient EHR systems, including EPIC, CERNER, McKESSON, and NOTEWORTHY.
Dr. Hill has had a long and successful career as a clinical cardiologist. Dr. Hill did his undergraduate training at Northwestern University and the University of Colorado. He did his medical school and residency training at the University of Colorado, followed by fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been a partner at East Bay Cardiology Medical Group since completing his fellowships in 1988. Dr. Hill has been the Chief of Noninvasive Cardiology Services at Doctor’s Medical Center since 1995 and Chief of Staff in 2004. Since 1988, Dr. Hill has also been the Site Principal Investigator for several national and international clinical research trials. He has been a frequent lecturer to physicians, allied health personnel, and the general public regarding cardiovascular disease and related medical topics. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications, including “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation by Medical and Surgical House Officers” (Lancet) and “Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty of Internal Mammary Artery Bypass Grafts” (Journal American College of Cardiology). He serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
